If the kids haven’t got around to liking egg yolks, or else you have some boiled egg yolks you don’t know what to with, make some spread (hopeless English word, by the way, for a Scandinavian. Pålegg is something you really feed on, every day.)

Ok, just mix the yolk with soft butter and some good salt, and add whatever is to your liking: mustard, pepper, hmm, mayo, perhaps. Put it on a piece of bread, combined maybe with butter, fishy things or other stuff.

You just find something, I haven’t really tried yet.
