Yeah, ok, the last posting is maybe a little too would-be sophisticated, but the food at Nøkken is not. Actually it is very good, using a lot of traditional ingredients really creatively. It is a pretty good attempt on capturing the taste of…sorry, Norway.

I know it sounds touristic, but eating there is worth while. All I wanted to say was that you get a real thrill out of some of it. I haven’t tried the whole menu, but for instance the chocolate “milk shake” with whisky, which is actually almost a mousse, is exactly that good. And the things that I mention down under.

Well. sorry to say, this restaurant doesn’t exist anymore. I haven’t had the money or time to try out the new one in the same location.
